Yes… that might be possible, but… then you will have to have an indication that you might get it. If it is strongly seen in the family than that may be an advantage. But we also know that anyone could get it.
I know of a question list that was sent out by a known dermatologist in the Amsterdam UMC, where she tried to find out if people with psoriasis would be willing to preventively take medication to prevent Psoriatic Arthritis. Don’t know the results of that questionlist yet.
Personally I would hope that if the cause was known, that we could try to interfere with the cause directly with very specific medication to solve the problem at its source.
Just like they are trying to do with some cancer medications, known as the Car-T method.
