Severe psoriasis increases risk of kidney disease

Very interesting reading, I would be interested to see further study regarding kidney disease and Psoriasis. As I think that an under 1% increase in the occurance in 40-50 year olds is not significant and possibly another study may well contradict it, I am sure there will be further study into this and I look forward to reading about it.
I am regularly monitored by blood tests for my treatment so possible kidney disease should be picked up at an early stage.
