Peat Skin Creams

Hello, not sure if this is the right place to post, but I had a question about skin care products with Irish Peat in them. I've heard they're meant to be good but as they are expensive I've not been able to try any. Wondered if anyone here has? Or, what moisturisers do people find help? I used cetraban which I didn't get on with, made me itch so now I've settled on Double Base for a while now which seems to not irritate my skin.

I hadn't heard of this one before but if it's natural then it's worth a try, you'd be amazed at the strange things that work for some. Obviously if it's expensive you can't really rush out and spend a fortune on something you may only use once....why don't you get in touch with the company and beg for a free sample? Sounds cheeky I know but a lot of places do have small samples to give out.

Not heard of this myself but I have found this out.

The bog people are amazingly well-preserved with fingernails, hair, and teeth in excellent condition. How is this possible when the dates range from 8000 B.C. to the early medieval times?

The peat (Moor Peat) contained in the bogs has amazing preserving properties which contribute to its ability to both combat aging and enhance health. Peat has excellent moisture-retaining qualities which improves skin elasticity.

When peat is applied to the skin, penetrates partially between the epidermis cells of the skin. A, producing an exchange reaction of ions is produced when the binding process with albumin in the skin occurs. lol Fred, I'm now picturing myself walking round all brown while my family look on a bit puzzled and me saying 'what? not a good look?'. Sounds like it has some healing properties so will try and get hold of some (cream), or perhaps I'll move to Ireland and just slosh around in it a bit.
