I started it one week ago (Nov 21, 2017) and so far nothing to complain about in the way of headaches or other possible side effects.  

The good news is there is already a slight improvement and the plaques seem to be not scaling as much.  I've got some that are so large and bad that it is hard to tell.  I pretty much don't have any area on my body that is not heavily engaged.  Scalp, all of my limbs, ears, all of my nails and toe nails.  It's really bad.  I'm in Canada by the way and it took a while to get my insurance provider to pay for it but they finally are.  They even deliver it to my door.  

I'm so very hopeful so far.

Well that sounds positive, that you are seeing and feeling a difference. Hopefully that will continue and you will have more relieve.
Do keep the side effects at bay.

Did your doc mention anything on vitamin D ? Canada is not the country where you can catch lots of vit. D from sunbathing I guess, certainly not in this times. You may add it to your diet.

Yes, it can be gloomy this time of year.  I was never advised to take vitamin D but I've been taking it myself for the last year.  Summers here are very nice right into October but I'm afraid gardening season is completely gone now so unless I go for light treatments I'm pretty much a mushroom.  Thanks for the reply and I'll keep posting on my response to Otezla, but so far I'm pretty impressed.  

Just for background I cannot take any of the other drugs due to liver issues and high blood pressure.  I did Dovobet and light treatments for almost a year and there it barely kept the plaques under control.  It got so bad my husband bought me a new Dyson stick vacuum to run around the house with... snicker

Hi River great to hear that you aren't experiencing any side effects from otezla' .....but are already seeing improvements, I hope it will give you clearance soon
