MTX doesn’t really do anything for PSA besides help with symptoms. It doesn’t slow down or stop disease progression with PSA. TNFs were the first medication that actually helped me and made my life better.

Well I hope Humira helps.

Yes, it's literally a poisonous band-aid.

I'm fortunate to now have a medical team that actually understand and assist. It's the first I'd heard of Clobex to help with the scalp psoriasis for example. The team at Abbvie have also been very helpful, a medical sister regularly face times to check in and see how I'm doing, and to reassure that the responses are normal. For most of the previous 6 years I was shoved a 6 monthly prescription and told to lose weight and stop drinking and the pain would get better. Well I lost 40kgs and completely gave up all alcohol and it didn't. Now at last the TNFi is doing something.

That is slightly amazing of a pharmacist one might say. But of course it is also for their own good if their product is doing well.
We miss that with lots of other medications…. Like mtx sick

Good that you have lost weight and gave up alcohol. That is strong. A good lifestyle is never bad.
Shall I tell you something… since I quit alcohol and adapted more things in my lifestyle, other then weight as I do not weigh very much, I have my PsA quite under control even now have stopped using medication, other than a little coconut oil. Smile
